Los Angeles CA
This mixed-use project is half-of-a-mile from the Los Angeles International Airport. It consisted of a 1,300-room Hilton with 60,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, approximately 120,000 sq. ft. of retail, approximately 800,000 sq. ft. of office space on 4,000 parking spaces (including a successful park-n-fly operation). The complex was purchased as a re-development opportunity in 1984. The entire project, including the hotel, was redesigned in accordance with a strategic repositioning plan, and was constructed and renovated in a short time frame. The project was sold in pieces at a profit and generous return DDRM's investment group after three years of ownership.
